Praise Break Dance Studio is owned and operated by Erica Hagan. Erica has a passion for dance that stems back to her early childhood. Reared in church, she established a relationship with God at the age of 13. At the age of 18, in her first year of college, she helped form a dance team with her dorm mates. The team danced to varies genres using different styles of dance including hip hop, break dance, and jazz. While she enjoyed the life long friendships she made on her dance team, Erica yearned for a deeper connection through her gift of dance. Upon graduating from college, Erica joined her late grandmother Pastor Lula B. Harris in her ministry, Hope House of Worship. Within her first year of serving as a faithful member of the ministry, she was appointed the Director of Dance. It was there she discovered her calling and tapped into her true gift of liturgical dance. With 17 years of dance performance, choreography, and expression coaching experience, Erica desires to help people from all walks of life tap into their gifts and embrace the power of dance.
Tiffany Johnson, PBS Lead Dance Instructor, discovered her love for the arts at an early age. She has always enjoyed dancing and singing. She has loved the connection and relationship that she established with God since early childhood. She started dancing in middle school and went on to major in dance at the Central Visual and Performing Arts school. Her training there consisted of West African, Jazz, Lyrical, Ballet and Hip Hop. In her early adult years she was reintroduced to dance at the Church of the Living God, but it wasn’t until few years later that she would join the dance ministry of Temple Christian Fellowship. Tiffany became an assistant instructor of the TCF Dance Ministry and realized dancing for the Lord was a true gift and her calling. Now the Director of the dance in the ministry she is open to share her gifts and ready to equip the saints of God as they go forth and minister to his people in dance.
